Jesus is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6) We believe that God the Father sent His only begotten Son Jesus into the world to die for its sin and that God raised Him up from the dead and now Jesus sits at the right hand making intercession for those who believes on Him. We believe that Jesus has fulfilled His promise to send the Holy Ghost to us, and it is He who leads and guides us into all truth.
Pastor
Sharon Fernandez has a
vision of local churches coming together under the
banner of Christian Love that
each ministry professes. The
plumb line for godliness is
how we treat our neighbors,
especially those of the house
hold of faith. Jesus Christ
manifested His love
for us by the crucifixion and
our love for Him is manifested
by our conduct and our affection toward others.
Prior to answering her call to ministry, Pastor Fernandez served her country through the Unites States military where her mission as a Human Resource Specialist was to take care of the world's best resource, humans. Her distinct call to ministry came during a hardship tour in Camp Casey Korea in 2001…eventually she answered. She was licensed as a Minister in 2004. And ordained as an Elder and Pastor in 2010.
Sharon holds an Associate Degree in General studies from Central Texas College, TX, a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology from Park University, Parksville, MO, and she is currently a student at Regent University, VA Beach, VA. She has completed the M-Div/ Worship Renewal track and is scheduled to complete a M.A. degree in Human Services Counseling (HSC) degree in May 2011.
Pastor Fernandez has served as chaplain for a women's group, youth pastor, Sunday School Superintendant, Adults and Teen Bible Study teacher and as a pastoral care team member. She is currently the Pastor of Spirit of the Living Christ Ministry located in Lorton, VA.
Pastor Fernandez's deepest
motivation for everything is that "I
might please God by the
manifested Spirit of Christ in me 2
Corinthians 3:3. That's shown
most profoundly through human
acts of kindness and love." The
Word of God is her passion. and
His love her motivation.
